Princess ZeldaHer Highness
RACE,Hylian
GENDER,Female
AGE,22
SEXUALITY,Heterosexual
POSTITION,Princess of Hyrule
PERSONALITY,Zelda is a very calm individual, she takes in any situation in silence, observing those around her and planning her actions accordingly. She avoids rushing into anything when at all possible and always looks for a peaceful and diplomatic solution. To most she may seem withdrawn, rarely making idol chit chat, but with a select few she can share an afternoon and be a more relaxed individual. Even on these rare instances though she remains regal; with proper etiquette and appropriate manners, the weight of her duty as Princess never fully leaving her shoulders.
Since her calm and quiet manner is not something most other twenty-two year olds have obtained and due to the fact that she rarely leaves the palace, Zelda seems to get along better with older people, enjoying the wisdom of their stories and learning what she can from the kingdoms past. As taught to her from a young age she always puts the well being of Hyrule and its people before her own needs and would willingly give anything for others.
APPEARANCE,Having never had to do any serious labor Zelda has retained a petite and elegant figure. She stands no more than five foot five inches tall and weighs a lean 115 pounds. She has an oval shaped face with a pointed chin and rounded jaw; a thin neck and graceful limbs. Her ears a long and pointed, clearly marking her as a Hylian along with her soft cream coloured skin and cerulean blue eyes. Well kept, her dirty blonde hair is almost entirely pulled behind her, hanging loosely until it is pulled together and tied with a grey-blue ribbon between her shoulder blades then braided and held by a silver clasp. Two strands however are bound by thin white ribbon in front of her ears, the ends capped by similar silver clasps that hold her braid. Both ears have small silver earrings piercing her lobs and a golden circlet crowns her brow. The center piece of her circlet is a curvy Y shaped bit holding a sapphire between its prongs, from there delicately crafted gold leaves wrap half way about her head before turning to simple golden links that reach up to a decorative hair piece at the back of her skull.
Her clothing is nothing but royal with a wisteria coloured, square necked top that splits just bellow her small bosom and angles down into a point behind her, under which is a simple white dress that falls to the floor, the base of which is carefully embroidered with intricate designs. A decorative belt made of gold links and an ornamental front hangs from her hips, a length of purple cloth hangs from the belt adorned by a detailed work of the triforce and the Hylian Royal Crest. More often than not she wears thin white gloves that reach to her mid-upper arm and when performing any kind of regal duty that implores an audience she wears golden armor on her shoulders.
MAGIC,- Healing Prayers: Zelda is considered the Seventh Sage and holds a power to heal others from substantial injuries. It is nothing so great as to save someone who is already dead nor could she help someone sprout a appendage should they have lost it, but things such as internal bleeding, broken bones, lacerations and the like are fixable to a near brand new state. Major healing (broken bones, severed limbs, etc.) takes two posts with a three post cooldown and minor healing (shallow cuts, severe bruising, etc.) takes one post with a two post cooldown.
- Telepathy: The Princess can communicate with people she has already met and given a Sages Stone to. Each of the Race Leaders (aside from Midna) has a stone and in addition Zelda has three spare stones. She can only communicate for three posts via the stones before she needs a four post cooldown. Others can talk to her by simply speaking to the stone.
- Light Arrows
- OPEN
RACIAL ABILITIES,Acute Sense- They hylians have a natural ability that doubles their senses for five posts with a two post cooldown.
WEAPONS,
Light Arrows and Bow: Zelda possesses a quiver of arrows blessed by the sages with the power to banish evil. The bow itself is not magical, though it is finey crafted and a beautiful weapon. Its made of a white wood with intricate carvings and is well kept. The arrows are a golden color with a faint glow to them, when readied the tip of the arrow grows brighter with concentrated magic. For ever two arrows fired there is a four post cooldown.
Royal Sword: This finely crafted weapon has been passed down from on ruler to the next and now rests in the hands of Princess Zelda. While it has no magical properties it is a prized possession that the princess keeps by her side especially when on official business. The grip is wrapped in a deep, purple dyed leather and the gold coloured cross guard is polished with pristine Hylian text engraved in the center. The base of the sword is encased in golden metal, splitting about a half a foot up the blade to reveal the silver white sword.
HISTORY,
Born to the King and Queen of Hyrule Zelda has been a figure of importance her whole life. As a baby she was fed by wet nurses and cared for by nannies who taught her to walk, talk and act like a princess as soon as she was old enough to do so. She was always a quiet girl, even as a toddler and a young child she listened well and rarely cried. Every second of her day was carefully planned from her meals to her lessons and her time spent with her parents which increased only marginally as she got older. In the infrequent moments that she had open she took to following about the people of the castle and listening to their stories.
She was an avid learner, soaking up everything from history to mathematics to geography, her tutors naming her a born prodigy, but despite their praise she kept a level head and continued to study hard. She was certain that no matter how much she knew she didn’t know everything. By age ten she began weapon training, though it was never a strong focus, nor was she exceptionally good with the physical exertion it required. As time went on she learned the most basic in sword play, but was never any match for even the amateur soldiers, though she did enjoy archery and the calming precision it required.
Around the age of fifteen she took up more diplomatic duties. Previously she had only joined her parents on special occasions, dinner parties and the like, but at a ripe age she began sitting in on meetings regularly and handling political conversations with the Race Leaders. More often then not she simply listened and noted on how her father managed things, often taking mental notes on others reactions. Per tradition on her eighteenth birthday Zelda took up her place at the forefront of the kingdom. While her parents still remained in good health she took over the handlings of everyday matters, taking advice from those older and wiser from time to time. Since then things have run relatively smoothly with only minor issues throughout Hyrule, all dealt with in a timely manner and her reign for the past four years has been a peaceful one. Though in more recent times nightmares of dark creatures and war have been plaguing her dreams and have kept the usually calm Princess on edge.
