Henhen chuckled slightly as his hair was ruffled, and felt the need to rub his head afterwards. He sat on the ground and hugged his knees as he listened to the explanation, looking up at Lulu with fascination. He listened quietly, trying to understand everything that was being said to him. The explanation was different from what he was used to, having been told only scary things about ghosts before. When Lulu was finished, Henhen looked away.
"Eh...Mama always told me that when people died, they left this world. She says that ghosts are people who are angry and don't want to leave." He shivered at the thoughts. "She even says that some of them carry big knife-type things that hurt people if they get too close." Henhen looked back up Lulu, his face both confused and curious. "Do they have lanterns too?"
Suddenly, a peculiar thought went through his little mind. He thought about the Hylian, and how he always looked so angry and miserable. Henhen looked away from Lulu again and stared out at the graveyard, hugging his knees closer.
"Hey, hey...do you think that Hylian will be like that when he dies? All angry and scary? Or will he be loving like you said?" Henhen's eyes went dark, and he looked less like a boy now and more like a man his own age. "Hey, hey, what happens to people if they're not loved by anybody? Do they still get a light for their lantern? Who gives people the light, anyway?"
Henhen didn't like feeling the way he did right now. He hadn't ever felt this way before...but then again, he'd never spoken about death before. It was a sort of sadness that he'd never experienced, almost like grieving...only it was more for the living than anyone deceased.

Lulu thought about this, putting a forefinger to the tip of his nose as he did so. His mother had never told him bad ghost stories, mostly cause Cale could be a big baby about such things, but he'd heard things like the bad ghosts from other kids around the village. He crouched on the ground near Henhen, balancing on the balls of his feet.
"Yeah, there can be bad ghosts too, people who are mad when they die, but not here," Luis looked over his shoulder at the yard, "Come on, Henhen, I wanna show you something, I promise it's really cool," Lulu stood up and held his hand out to the other human. His parents had told him to play with the graves, especially the royal ones, but there was one at the back of the cemetery that was almost too beautiful to be considered a grave and unlike the yard out here it was well maintained.

Henhen frowned. Lulu hadn't answered his questions at all. He hugged his knees closer as he thought about it. He would liked it if ghosts were really nice people and not scary at all. However, it concerned him that according to Lulu's story, you had to be loved. He didn't think it was fair. It concerned him more that Lulu admitted to some ghosts being scary and angry people. The Hylian seemed angry all the time--he didn't want him to become mean and scary like that. Henhen liked the Hylian.
Henhen looked up at Lulu, who apparently wanted to take him into the graveyard. He blinked, and reached up to take his hand. He was too distracted by his own thoughts to be afraid. Besides, he liked interesting things.

Lulu pulled the boy to his feat and led him along the over grown path to the very back of the graveyard. A half ruined stone stair case led up to a plateform of earth with a withering tree to the left and a polished gray stone was set into the dirt wall. He hoped what was beyond the stone would cheer Henhen up, he seemed distracted by the thought of angry ghosts.
"Don't worry about bad ghosts, they always move on," He smiled back at Hen then bent next to the stone and pushed. It was heavy, but ever since he and his brothers had originally cracked its base the grave had been easier to move. It slide to the side and revealed a crawl space, "Comeone," Luis gave Hen a big grin, waving his hand to beckon him to follow before starting through the hole. He could see the soft shimmering light on the other side. It was a short ways and when he emerged he was on a small landing surrounded by brilliant blue, sparkling water. It was the Zoras royal grave site.

Henhen stumbled as he was pulled to his feet, and instinctively held Lulu's hand tighter. His fear slowly began to come back as they started walking through the graveyard, flinching at noises and jumping at shadows. He decided to cover his eyes with his free hand, causing him to only stumble more as he walked. With his eyes closed, he couldn't help but picture what a scary ghost would look like. He saw the Hylian, angry at him, with fangs and claws, growling like a dog and scratching at him like a cat. Henhen gasped out and opened his eyes again, just in time for them to walk up what were stone steps.
Henhen saw in front of them a peculiar looking stone, and let go of Lulu's hand. It peaked his curiosity, and he stared at it with an intrigued expression.
"Don't worry about bad ghosts, they always move on."
Henhen looked over at Lulu, who smiled at him. He didn't say anything, but he thought about, and somehow, it made him feel better. Even the Hylian won't be angry forever.
He watched nervously as Lulu moved the stone, and saw him uncover a whole that was just large enough to crawl through. He watched as Lulu suddenly fell to his knees and crawled through, and suddenly Henhen couldn't contain himself anymore.
"Eh? Don't go in there! It's dark and it looks cramped! Hey, hey! What if you get stuck? Hey!" Henhen was left alone, and he stared at the hole, frightened. "Hey, hey...if I go in there what if something bad happens? What made that hole in the first place? What if a giant worm lives in there and it eats me if I go in?" Henhen cried out, covering his head with his arms. "Wah! I don't want to!"
However, with the sudden call of a bird in the graveyard behind him, Henhen spontaneously decided to choose the better of two evils.
"Hey, hey! Lulu! Don't leave me here by myself!" He quickly fell to his knees, and crawled into the hole. It was dirty, and having scratched his hands and knees before, it was slightly painful to scrape them across the ground now. However, he made it out soon enough, and lifted himself to his feet, where he noticed the sparkling water. Henhen's eyes widened in fascination. He clapped his hands together, and giggled.
"Hey, hey! Where is this? I've never seen a place like this before."

Lulu laughed, he knew Hen would like this place. The man bent down by the water and he pulled up his pant legs, removed his boots, dipping his feet into the water and kicking his legs lazily. The water was warm, almost supernaturally so, comforting and relaxing. He gave the soft ground next to him a pat, motioning for Hen to sit next to him.
"It's a Zoran burial ground, on that island over there," He pointed across the platform to a large mass of grassy land, "All the Kings and Queens of the Zora are buried there. When they pass there is a huge gathering all along the river from the Zora Domain way up north to here and then they're laid to rest. I think the Zora are the happiest spirits." If his tale of the ghosts was accurate then he was right cause if once looked closely from their platform little bouncing white lights could be seen roaming around the island peacefully.

Henhen watched as Lulu sat down by the water's edge, placing his feet in the water. He followed as he was motioned over, however, he merely sat on folded legs and looked at the water from a safe distance. He was afraid of falling in.
"Hey, hey...I've never seen a Zora before. Papa used to tell me how they were fish people." Henhen laughed to himself. "Hey, hey! Fish people! They must look very funny. Hey, hey, have you ever seen a fish person? Do they have gills and tails like fish do? Amazing! Kings and Queens of fish people! I didn't know that there were more Kings and Queens. Are there Princesses too? I met a Princess, once! Hey, hey..." Henhen stopped to think to himself, pointing off in what he decided pretend was North. "If they live so far away, how can they get all the way over here? I don't remember seeing any water outside of here, so they can't swim here. Unless..." his voice trailed into a mumble, as he became clearly distracted by the workings in his own mind. "Unless there's a secret lot of a water that no one knows about."
Henhen looked back at the water, and smiled to himself happily.
"If their spirits are happy, then that means they're not scary, eh?"

Lulu smiled at the other man, the kid deffiantely had a very active mind, always babbling question after question, it was almost more than Luis could keep up with.
"There's an underground river that flows all the way across the fields and straight to this place," He looked into the clear water, far to the right, barely visible was a cave opening. If any being beside a zora could swim it they would be taken directly to Zora's Domain.
"Really? You've never seen a Zora? They're tall and they have blue and green skin usually and these really dark eyes. Some of them have tentacles for hair and their fingers and toes are webbed. They're pretty interesting looking creatures, very nice though, Lulu smiled remembering the handful of Zora's he'd met in the past.

An underground river! Neat! Henhen didn’t know that such things existed. It made him wish that he was able to swim. He eyes sparkled at the thought of it, and he grinned childishly at Lulu. He was learning so many neat things today!
As Lulu went on to explain what a Zora looked like, Henhen tried to picture one. His face became curled up in an expression of deep thought and contemplation. Unfortunately, he wasn’t very good at these things, and the image he conjured up in his mind was…less than flattering. However, he settled on this image as pretty liable, and burst out laughing at himself.
“Hey, hey! They’re pretty ugly things then, aren’t they?” He said loudly, without any care for manners or respect, considering his location.

Lulu laughed, the sound echoing off the area's walls. He wished he had a picture or something to show Henhen since it seemed he wasn't very good at imagining how things looked. Luis was rather good at imagining how things were supposed to look, it was part of what made him such a good inventor, to be able to know the outcome and work from the bottom up to make it real.
"Actually, they're really pretty, at least some of them are. I know it sounds weird since they're supposed to be like fish, but they are very elegant and some of them have the most beautiful colors on them," Lulu's eyes practically lit up as he spoke, he loved all the races of Hyrule, could easily see the beauty in each on and understand their advantages in their environment. But he'd always loved the zora the best, so graceful and proud, when he was much younger he'd sometimes swam around pretending he was a zora, but of course he knew he'd always just be human.

Henhen tried to re-imagine what they’d look like, after being told that they were actually quite pretty. He didn’t have a very good definition of what “pretty” was. The one thing he could ever really consider pretty was the Princess Zelda that he had met days ago. Therefore, he decided to try and picture Zelda being a fish-person. He added a few different colours.
…again, it didn’t turn out very flattering. This time, Henhen stuck his tongue out at his own imagination, and giggled.
“Hey, hey!” He said to Lulu, clapping his hands together. “Can we go see one?” His eyes sparkled and lit up with excitement. It’d be so amazing if he got to see one!

Luis beamed with the idea. It was barely past noon, but the trip to Lake Hylia was at least a day on horseback, he considered it, and nodded to the kid.
"Come on, I just have to leave a note for my siblings and we can be on our way," In a scurry he crawled back through the hole, waiting briefly on the otherside for Henhen before practically trotting off through the graveyard and back towards his house, spinning about every so often to see if Hen was still behind him.
Once they were back at the shop he rummaged for a scrap of paper and dug out is sketching pencil, scribbling a quick not: 'Gone to Lake Hylia, take care of the shop, be back in a few days. Love, Lulu' He placed it on the work bench, a wrench keeping any stray drafts from knocking it to the floor.
"King can carry both of us, I hope you don't mind horseback riding," Lulu smiled as he gathered up a knapsack and stuffed a few essentials into it; a small loaf of hard bread, a bit of dried meat and the like as well as a full water skin. He led Henhen out to a small fenced area where a black horse with a white mane and tail with one white sock on his front right leg was happily munching on a pile of hay. The horse looked up a bit bored and went back to eating while Lulu considered using a saddle or not.

Henhen followed Lulu back through the hole and into the graveyard without hesitation. He as too excited! Would he actually get to see a fish person? He hoped they weren’t actually ugly and scary. That would be so unfortunate for them! Being too distracted by his constant thoughts, Henhen followed Lulu through the graveyard and into the village without fear, occasionally giggling to himself or clapping. He could also be heard talking to himself, but it was all useless babble that we have no point in reading here.
He ended up at what would have been the shop, and Henhen soon became distracted by that, asking a bunch of pointless questions about the location and everything within it he saw. He didn’t pay attention to Lulu writing the note or gathering his things, and simply followed him back out again.
When Henhen saw the horse, it was though he became excited all over again. He’d seen horses before, sure, but he’d never gotten to ride one! He wondered if he’d be able to do it. He’d probably fall off.
When Henhen was just about to ask Lulu all kinds of questions regarding horseback riding, a brand new thought crept its way into his head. His expression softened.
“What about the Hylian?” he said. He had it in his mind that the Hylian hadn’t actually ditched him, and would like to know where he had went in order to tell him where he was going. Just in case—even if the Hylian had attempted to make it clear that he didn’t like Henhen.

Lulu decided to just through a blanket over kings back, it would be uncomfortable for all parties considering the saddle was really only made for one person. He went to the small tackle shed and found a coarse woven blanket and shook out the dust, tossing it over the horses back and flattening it out. Henhen finally spoke up, but when he did it was regarding the rude Hylian who'd left them in the streets earlier.
Luis mounted the horse, getting a foot up on the water trough before lithely flinging himself onto the creature, looking thoughtful as he considered this 'What about the Hylian?' He wanted to make a snide remark about the man, but that seemed like it wuld upset Hen. So he tugged Kings mane, stirring the horse towards Henhen and leaning over to offer his arm for the boy to mount up behind him.
"I suppose he's gone his own way, he doesn't seem like the kind of person who would appreciate the Zora," He felt like that was a decent answer instead of saying he thought the guy was a prick and he really didn't want to be anywhere near him.

Henhen watched as Lulu got onto the horse, and stared at the man’s arm as it was offered to him. What was he supposed to do? Was he supposed to use the arm to climb up?
Climbing.
The Hylian was good at climbing.
Henhen’s eyes darkened. The Hylian had climbed all the way up that tree to help him down, and he had let Henhen follow him all the way here. He had also helped with one of Henhen’s wound. He couldn’t be as bad and mean as he always seemed to be…right?
"I suppose he's gone his own way, he doesn't seem like the kind of person who would appreciate the Zora."
"Oh," said Henhen, downcast. That wouldn't be very fun then, would it? "Hey, hey...what kind of person does appreciate the Zora, then?" Henhen still felt dreadful over the idea of leaving the Hylian and never seeing him again. But I guess it couldn't be helped. He attempted to climb onto the horse with Lulu's help.
